Veracruz tacos (original mexican food that started off in a food truck and now they have multiple locations across the city, majority are still food trucks but they have a couple restaurants) 

Ushi (need a break from beef? This fun Japanese fusion restaurant is perfect plus it doesn’t just fill the menu with spicy mayo and sauces) 

Tsuke Edoma (eight person, 20 course omakase experience, if you are a sushi addict we recommend booking her as soon as you book your trip to secure a reservation) 

Franklin’s BBQ (another great bbq option and is known to have the best brisket in Texas)
