  • Magnolias (small cafe serving breakfast and lunch with a Tex-Mex aspect, also they have cute outdoor seating) 

  • Veracruz tacos (original mexican food that started off in a food truck and now they have multiple locations across the city, majority are still food trucks but they have a couple restaurants) 

  • Ushi (need a break from beef? This fun Japanese fusion restaurant is perfect plus it doesn’t just fill the menu with spicy mayo and sauces) 

  • Tsuke Edoma (eight person, 20 course omakase experience, if you are a sushi addict we recommend booking her as soon as you book your trip to secure a reservation) 

  • Franklin’s BBQ (another great bbq option and is known to have the best brisket in Texas)
