WHERE TO EAT

  • Fish cheeks (thai restaurant focused on seafood) 

  • Sugar fish (basic LA staple but good for a quick bite or take out) 

  • Salinas (cool Spanish restaurant in West Chelsea) 

  • Red farm (delicious dumplings and pre order the peking duck) 

  • Freemans (good for an occasion, birthday etc.. You can even rent out the rooms) 

  • Kikis (best Greek place in nyc!! Best for lunch or low key dinner) 

  • Locanda Verde (delicious for brunch in Tribeca) 

  • Chinese tuxedo (used to be a former opera house that is now turned into a fun and lively chinese restaurant also the bar next door apotheke is cool too) 

  • Hanoi house (cute vietnamese restaurant the Ban Mi is so good) 

  • Cookshop (always a safe choice if you are in the west chelsea area) 

  • Cote (fancy korean bbq, need to book in advance)

  • Indochine (really fun and delicious asian food, good for big groups) 

  • Ilili (fancy Arabic food, must order the kabab bil karaz) 

  • La Esquina (pretty basic but good if you want to go some place vibey) 

  • Carbone (cliche but the food is worth is) 

  • Cosme (contemporary Mexican restaurant) 

  • Dirty french (if you are in the vibe for French food in a cool atmosphere this is the place) 

  • Ms.Lilly (Jamaican restaurant that is known for good food and a great time) 

  • Pies and thighs (fried chicken and comfort southern food, the williamsburg location is better)

  • Red rooster (my favorite soul/southern food in NYC, it is in Harlem but worth the trip. Also, they have a bunch of live music events so check their website for the calendar) 

  • Ill bucco (very cute italian restaurant in Noho, menu changes everyday) 

  • Los tacos (hands down best tacos in nyc a MUST) 

  • The beatrice inn (classic NYC tavern style restaurant but upscale! The location is historical as it used to be a speakeasy back in the 1920s)

  • Sweet chicks (fried chicken spot) 

  • Frenchette (french bistro nice for a semi-casual dinner but also the brunch is great get the fluffy eggs) 

  • Minetta tavern (one of my favorite NYC tavernas also their burger is amazing) 

  • Sushi Katsui (small sushi restaurant that has delicious omakase) 

  • 4 charles prime rib (best burger in NYC, need to book way in advance) 

  • Sushi M (very simple omakase place but the vibe is unmatched cause the chef most times serves you and he is always coming up with new things) 

  • Bond st (classic japanese restaurant that never gets old, get the tuna tarts) 

  • Misi in Brooklyn (they make all their pastas in house. Also the whipped ricotta toast is to die for. Try to book ASAP) 

  • Patis ( a nyc staple with everything from steaks, burgers to salads and mussels)

  • I Sodi (southern italian cuisine and they are known for their 20-something layered lasagna) 

  • Hwa Yuan Szechuan (3 story chinese restaurant from the 80s, very good and reliable chinese food hence its been around for a while) 

  • Her name is Han (Korean restaurant with everything from bbq to noodles and hot pots)
